Job Requirements - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Mother/Baby, postpartum, or maternity nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NRP certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a dynamic maternity and postpartum setting
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
- Commitment to working required holiday coverage as scheduled
Responsibilities - Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns
- Monitor maternal and infant recovery and identify changes in condition promptly
- Support breastfeeding education, newborn care teaching, and discharge preparation
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately
- Respond to the needs of patients and families with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain a calm, organized approach in a busy Mother/Baby unit
